Position Overview

We’re currently seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team at a remote mining site near Cochrane, Ontario. This role follows a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, offering an excellent balance of field work and personal time. While on site, we provide full accommodations and meals.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a mining environment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical components and systems

• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and regulatory codes

• Follow and enforce electrical safety standards and procedures

• Collaborate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other trades on-site

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)

• Previous experience in mining, industrial, or remote camp settings is an asset

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices

• Ability to work independently and adapt to physically demanding, remote environments

• Valid driver’s license required
